Mini Lives: Between the Festivals

Mini Lives are monthly, branded livestream features designed to keep the Fables community active between major festivals. These mini-fests spotlight authors, books, and sponsors in a fun, low-pressure format while giving readers fresh content every month.

Each Mini Live is hosted on YouTube and compiled into a single cohesive video featuring a curated selection of authors and our permanent sponsors.

What Authors Submit

Participating authors will receive a 5-slide template to complete and return. This keeps branding consistent and production smooth.

Your slides will include:

• Introduction – your name, branding, and a short hook

• About You – a brief author bio and genres

• Featured Book – one book you’re spotlighting for that month

• Game or Giveaway – something fun to engage viewers

• Follow & Links – where readers can find and follow you

🎥 Optional: If you have a book trailer, you’re welcome to include it.

Monthly Participation Guidelines

• Authors may participate in multiple months, but:

  • Your featured book must change each month

  • Your giveaway or game must be updated each month

• Authors may not participate three months in a row. After two consecutive months, you’ll need to take one month off before reapplying.

Availability & Selection

• Mini Lives have a limited number of author slots each month.

• Slots are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, based on complete slide submission.

• Incomplete or late submissions may be moved to a future month.

Sponsors

Permanent sponsors will appear in each Mini Live with their own dedicated slide.
